BMK provides acquisition project management services to both DoD and federal programs. BMK’s Acquisition Support Teams provide tailored cradle-to-grave professional acquisition support services. Our experience and knowledge of the customized contract management approach using multiple contractual instruments including: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), Cost Reimbursable, and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) allows us to assist our customers in tailoring their acquisition strategy to meet their program requirements. Our team has successfully assisted in the development and implementation of Acquisition Plans, Source Selection Plans, Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Performance Based Work Statements (PWSs), Statement of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives (SOO), and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs) in addition to supporting the development of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), Justifications and Approvals (J&A), Determinations and Findings (D&F), and Price Negotiation Memorandums (PNM).
BMK’s Program/Project Management capabilities cover a wide range of functional areas, including budget and costs analysis, acquisition management, program control, earned value management (EVM), systems engineering, logistics support, and training. Our program management support services are built on our understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition regulations and policies, as well as an in-depth knowledge of product life cycles.
Configuration Management/Data Management (CM/DM) & Logistics
BMK provides support to the Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM) functional area. Several CM/DM areas of which we support are as follows; Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) for the Force Protection Division, the Aerospace Landing Systems Branch, the Dragon Program within the Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS) and the NETCENTRIC Program within Battle Management and Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence and Networking (C3I&N) Program Executive Office (PEOs).
BMK’s robust Configuration and Data Management support has been one of our key contributors to the System Engineering function.
As part of one of our earliest contracts BMK developed a curriculum based CM/DM Training & Development & Implementation program for the Engineering and Technical Assistance and Support Services I (ETASS I) workforce based on a Gap Analysis of Skills Deficiencies. The Gap Analysis proved the critical need of skilled, experienced, and knowledgeable CM/DM workforce.
As a result of the BMK Expertise and Knowledge in CM/DM and the BMK Gap Analysis & Training Development & Implementation we have been requested to provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to other programs as they review their critical need for strategies aligning additional Configuration & Data Management support within their organizations.
Engineering Support Services
BMK Secure Solutions provides a full range of Life Cycle Development Systems Support including Systems Engineering and Life Cycle Management support services. We provide the skills, processes and expertise for effective engineering services for both Government and Commercial acquisitions. Over the course of our support to our Federal Government customers we have prepared and/or supported the development of many acquisition documents required within the engineering area such as; Systems Engineering Plans, Specifications, Technical Requirements Documents, Programmatic Acquisition strategy documents, Source Selection documents, and Integrated Milestone Plans and Schedules.
